New Beginning Apostolic Faith Church Of God Inc. – Baltimore Mission

New Beginning Apostolic Faith Church Of God Inc. – Baltimore Mission is the Maryland branch of the NFCOG General Assembly. The mission’s original purpose was to keep fellowship with our Northern churches and strengthen the brethren. Elder Cheryl Miller was appointed by our Presiding Prelate, Apostle Ivan L Grant, Sr, to oversee the mission’s work.

In 2006, Bible Study was relocated from the home of Apostle Ivan L Grant, Sr to the home of Elder Cheryl Miller. Services came to include Sunday school, Morning Worship, and Tuesday night Bible Study. The members in attendance at that time were the Miller family, Townsend family, Cousin family, Sister L’Tanya Nixon, Sister Phyllis Shipley, Elder Ronald Cromwell, Deacon Ray Leach, Sister Anna Boxer, and Sister Cassandra Warren.

On September 16, 2007, New Beginning AFCOG Baltimore Mission moved its location to 8001 Greenspring Valley Rd Owings Mills, MD. The church dedication service and installation of Cheryl Miller as Pastor were both held on September 30, 2007. Several new members were added to the church that same day.

The church moved its fellowship to the Park Heights area in August 2010 and then to the Loch Raven area in April 2012, along with our friends and co-laborers in the gospel, Masterpiece Community Connection Ministry.

New Beginning and Masterpiece moved into our Belair Rd edifice on October 1, 2014. Over the years we were blessed by visits of many well-wishers and have held services with our sister churches in attendance.

In February of 2019, Pastor Miller moved to their Milford Mill Road location. Bishop Forrest Nance, Jr and Member of Faith Temple NFCOG in Warsaw, VA. Came up and help prepare the sanctuary for service, along with others. The church dedication service was held on April 28th, 2019, Apostle Ivan l Grant, Sr officiated.

In 2022, God led Pastor Miller to seek a new edifice for New Beginning. In March 2022, we moved to Pennsylvania Ave in Baltimore, MD. Then after a fire at that location in 2023, we relocated to our current location at New Restorations Ministries, 1639 Moreland Ave Baltimore MD.

We have been blessed to see souls saved, bodies healed, and spiritual gifts given to the saints. God has revealed his power and glory in numerous ways. We believe God will continue to bless this ministry and add “such as should Saved” to the church. To God be the glory, for the things he has done Amen.
